Introducing............ Blake Peter

As the sun came up on the 28th September 2008 we welcomed another precious boy into our lives.

Blake Peter was born 9 pound (yes OUCH) and he's so perfect and a healthy, happy little soul.
Cooper is completely in love and cannot leave him alone.

My birth was amazing, although seemed alot tougher this time but I think a lot of that had to do with my head space unfortunately. This will happen to you after 3 weeks of false labour I guess. Yet I was still very happy with how things turned out. I didn't get my water birth but my darling boy was born into a room filled with those who love him most. My gorgeous husband Luke and both my parents were there to welcome him. Dad did an amazing job videoing the entire saga and also captured the moments beautifully with his camera. Mum was once again a rock as she was with Cooper's birth and of course Luke did and said all the right things when I needed him too. Luke's mother Sue was at home with our darling Cooper waiting on the news that his new baby brother was born. They were able to come up to the hospital straight afterwards to meet him. Because I gave birth through the birthing centre I was able to go home straight away, so 5 hours later I was back home tucked in bed with my newest family member.

Cooper is now going to daycare two days a week (sob sob)

I am very lucky though because he just loves it and is so in love with his teacher, Miss Vanessa. I have an incling that the feeling is mutual. My son is a heartbreaker, what can I say ??

Here is his class photo. Apparently he loved the camera and kept wanting to have another go, not sure where he gets that from ?? The poor kid has practically had the camera in his face since birth.

Not so good after all

And here I was saying how good I would be at contributing to this blog again. There really isn't enough hours in the day!

I sit here at almost 38 weeks pregnant with our Baby B and with much regret that I haven't documented this pregnancy no where near as much as I would have liked. Life with a toddler sure is busy but that's really no excuse. I can't believe in perhaps 2 weeks time we will have another precious baby boy to love and adore. Where has this 9 months gone ??

I wanted to add these gorgeous shots that we had taken with Cooper and the 'bump' back at 34 weeks. Hopefully i'll have the proper shots back some time this week.




This is my latest contribution to my belly pics, taken at 37 weeks. I'm starting to really feel like a beached whale. I'm worried Greenpeace might come and try and save me from being harpooned.

Baby B's Nursery

I have just added the final touches to the nursery and now I think it's really sinking in that we're going to have another baby. Yes it's taken me the whole 9 months to realise!

I'm so pleased with how it has turned out.
